Armstrong Creek to receive New Ambulance Station

Residents of Armstrong Creek can look forward to a great addition to their community infrastructure with the announcement, made in the 2023-2024 Victorian budget, of a new Ambulance Station. The Andrews Labor Government has committed $30.4 million to deliver this vital facility, which will provide a significant boost to South Barwon's ambulance resources as the area continues to expand.

The investment in upgrading and rebuilding ambulance stations across Victoria has been a priority for the Andrews Labor Government, with $249 million already allocated. This funding ensures that all Victorians have access to lifesaving emergency care, and the Armstrong Creek Ambulance Station will be an important addition to the 30 ambulance stations that have already been completed under the Ambulance Victoria Development Program.

The new Armstrong Creek Ambulance Station will offer modern facilities, including training facilities, enhanced security and storage, and comfortable rest and recline rooms, among other amenities. The investment in this facility demonstrates the government's commitment to providing better working conditions for ambulance staff and improving emergency care for local families.

Quote attributable to the Member for South Barwon, Darren Cheeseman MP:

“The provision of an Ambulance Station in Armstrong Creek will result in improved facilities for the dedicated local paramedics serving South Barwon and ensure that the residents of Armstrong Creek and surrounding areas receive the highest standard of emergency care available.”
